I wish `node_modules` would just disappear. The best way you can improve your speed is get off Mac and start using Linux instead. :-P

I visited https://github.com/tobimensch/aqemu and the latest commit is from 2020. Maybe we can try to compile from the latest master branch commit instead of using a tagged release?

I can confirm this happens with `v3.21.0-beta.18` too.
