Feedback: Baka-MPlayer doesn't do well with HighDPI displays...
Hi dev's!
I recently took a peek at Baka-MPlayer on my 8" 1080p (283ppi). The menu and other UI elements were unusably tiny, even with display scaling (custom) larger than 200%.
I was hoping that there may be some kind of configuration setting (for the ini file, etc) that could alleviate this problem, unless it has deeper issues somewhere in the code of the program.
My vote is for good scaling on 1080p (1K) (2K) and (4K) displays...
Looking forward to some kind of solution for this. Currently falling back to using VLC which is crashy on Windows 10.
Scale is fine on my 27 inch 1080p (1K) display, but I was hoping to use this on my tablet, and future (4K) monitor purchase.
We will be making a big switch from Qt Widget to Qt Quick controls based project. Qt Quick will allow us to create windows with much better scaling at high DPI displays. It has been in the works for a while but still needs some time. We will let you know.
Hi Joshua thanks for the head's up
Best
