It's a good thing that these scripts no longer work and Netflix is fighting these bruteforce opportunities to protect their users.
I suggest if you're interested in bruteforce of such services from a research / case study and responsible disclosure kind of view you have to reverse engineer the Netflix application yourself and look on how they authenticate their requests with signatures and api tokens. But don't expect Netflix to still be like in the beginning without countermeasures in place such as rate limiting and signed requests. If you find a vulnerability where you can bruteforce Netflix without limitation then report it to their security team and ask them to send you a letter of appreciation.
