Left-Click Not Opening Links
I have just installed Typora (1.10.8) and have a licence.
I have a simple README.md in the root of the folder that I have opened (opened folder, not the file).
In the README file I have a line under my H1 that declares a link: [Test](Test.md) and I have a file in the root called Test.md. Test.md just has a line saying "HelloWorld!".
When I left-click on the link, nothing happens - if I ctrl+left-click, HelloWorld opens in a new window.
My question is: What am I doing wrong with syntax or settings (or something else!)?
I have read that:
"Left-clicking doesn’t trigger navigation for local .md files — by design, to avoid accidental jumps."
This cannot be true... it's like saying that I am going to remove links from websites "to avoid accidental jumps"... just don't click it!!!!
Thank in advance, Harold
Same issue, did you find a fix? @haroldjclements
Hi @rickyribeiroo ... No, and as you can see, no response on this forum. I guess paying for a licence does not get you support from these guys (...unless I have posed in the wrong place!) ...
Please use ctrl+click to open a link.
Currently click a link is putting cursor inside it.
We will reconsider the behavior if more users are requesting this. Click :+1: if you also expect this.

Hi @abnerlee, I appreciate your reply.
The issue is that if I Ctrl+Click, it opens a new window each time. So, ether Typora is only useful for 1 or 2 page documents, or we change it to allow click-through - Imagine if Wikipedia opened every link a new web browser!
I guess I am just disappointed and I feel like I waisted my money purchasing a licence :( ... "caveat emptor" I guess...
Cheers anyhow.... Harold
