Command click on titlebar of background window should allow that window to be moved
Modifier Keys and the Title Bar for Window Behavior
I think the following is a Apple macOS UI guideline but I could not find the explicit passage in current docs; pretty sure it was stated explicitly old Macintosh User Interface Guidelines of the past. Tho, even if it were not, it is an obvious convention that would work well for, and in, Typora.
The Command key (⌘) modifies a mouse-down operation.
Is there a configuration setting in Typora that disables the specific operation of being able to move a window that is not frontmost by selecting it in the titlebar with the modifier key combination: Command-Key + MouseDown event.
My expectation is Command clicking the titlebar of a window that is not frontmost should allow the user to reposition that window. Upon the mouse up event, the windows remains where it was in the stacking order of background windows & it is moved to a new position.
Typora Version Version 1.10.10 (7411)
thank you
I have additional information.
I see this on Typora Version 1.10.10 (7411) on macOS 14.7
However the background window behaves as expected on Typora Version 1.10.10 (7411) on macOS 12.7.6
I did not expect to see the behavior diverge like this.
