Dont auto-capitalize inside of Latex
Not sure if this is possible or if its a built in mac thing. It would be helpful if Typora didn't autocapitalize (specifically the letter i) inside of latex sections. When doing something like $d(i, j)$ it will auto capitalize the i which is not desired behavior.
Many thanks, Derek
Could you provide a screencast?
I'm not able to reproduce this.
Here you go: i thing
I showed putting an i in Typora, Google Docs, and notepad. Typora and notepad both autocapitalized the i but google docs did not. I am on a Macbook with 10.15.7 and no additional keyboard stuff running (like carabiner etc). Derek

This looks very much like what auto-correction and auto-capitalization in macOS can cause. Check System Settings > Keyboard > Text Input > Edit (this is the position in Sequoia; other macOS versions may vary a bit), and try turning off:
- Correct spelling automatically
- Capitalize words automatically
