I'm unfamiliar with Ruby but is it possible to make underlying OS/system calls to check file type? I know this isn't the absolute best way to check file types but...

Same here. Force reinstall gave the same error.

I found a hacky way to fix this for me at least. Download the latest pkg - https://github.com/netbirdio/netbird/releases/download/v0.28.3/netbird-ui_0.28.3_darwin_arm64_signed.zip Extract it. And "uninstall.sh" is in ./netbird_ui_darwin_arm64/ folder. Copy it as /Applications/Netbird\...
