Switch to Screen Saver no longer works with macOS 10.13

When I call Salute to enable the screen saver, nothing happens, going to LoginWindow does but I'm not interested.

I know HS has a feature to go to LoginWindow but again, I only need the ScreenSaver.

Any idea what broke it?
