"Child" is smaller than "Boy" or "Girl"
For example:

Note that the "Adult" (1F9D1) vs. "Man" (1F468) or "Woman" (1F469) is of a similar size (the "Man" face is larger than the "Adult" face, but the features line up almost identically with those of "Woman"). Similarly, the "Older Adult" (1F9D3) drawing is smaller than the "Old Man" (1F474) drawing, but lines up with the "Old Woman" graphic (1F475). The "Child" drawing is, however, smaller than both the "Boy" and "Girl" drawings, and does not have features that line up with either.
(While considering the drawing, also note that the "Child" appears to have lost their ears, and it may be beneficial to have them back as well. :slightly_smiling_face: Not that Twemoji has to copy them, but both Apple and Google's Noto emoji do include ears for all of the generic "Person" emoji.)
Commented on the wrong issue. Had to happen eventually. We're actually looking into ensuring the sizes of these align with each other.
