Likes and Reposts Not Properly Synchronizing

Description: When a user sometimes does like and/or repost someone else's post, it will not always properly synchronize. It has been a general annoyance to many X users for a decent amount of time. However, this does not always happen, as some will actually synchronize.

To Reproduce: Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Attempt to do a like and/or repost.
2. Check on your profile, and then see if your like and/or repost does synchronize properly.
3. If it does synchronize, repeat this process again until you stumble upon the bug.

Expected Behavior: Likes and reposts are supposed to be fully synchronized always.

Environment: I am using a desktop, though I am pretty sure it has been an issue for a lot of other devices.
