Feature Request: Rating system
add a rating system to rate footprints. If more sources will be added, some of them may contain malicious footprints, those can be filtered out by a rating system.
Good idea!
Note that I already have a per-source 'rank', which is used to fiddle the order of results (so KiCad official parts and then Digikey parts appear at the top).
My main question/concern is this: How should we key the identity of the person doing each 'rate'. I don't currently have any cookies, and I would rather an approach where a malicious can't use a script to create an obscene number of ratings for his footprint.
I'm not familiar with this kind of ratings, but as there is no commercial interest of someone pushing his design, I wouldn't expect this kind of behavior. Maybe you can implement some kind of filter that limits ratings/day or per hour to something reasonable.

after downloaded bad footprint user back to site and search again ;-) if footprint good user search other or not come back
