Outdated "Author Email" still present on Extension Submissions

Open ShawnPavel opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

Brief description An email that was previously used to set up a Twitch extension still receives all correspondance when submitting an extension for review despite not being present in the extension submission. I have communicated with the extension review team and they suggested I submit an issue here. Screenshots are included below.

How to reproduce I am unsure how you would be able to reproduce, but it is visible on our extension "eRena Leaderboard Overlay" that was recently submitted and reviewed.

Expected behavior Only the email listed in the "Author Email" field at the time of submission should receive correspondance.

Screenshots We have updated that to be "[email protected]" some time ago. There is no indication of "[email protected]." anywhere that is visible to us, yet that email is still receives the submission responses as seen in this screenshot: Screenshot 2023-08-02 at 9 25 53 AM

In the submission of this version (1.4.6) this is what we have set. Below is a screenshot of this section in the "Version Details" tab for v1.4.6 image

👋 Just to add to this, it looks like the "Your Extension is In Review" + "Your Extension has been released!" + "Your Extension has been updated!" emails get sent only to the outdated author email address. This email address appears to be the user that created the extension, not an email that has ever been included in a version as the author.

Responses to reviews appear to get sent to the current author email + this same original author email address.

This feels like a bit of a security headache as that original author email could easily be someone that should no longer be involved in the development of an extension in shared org.
