More playback speed options

I absolutely love the playback speed control for VODs, and I may be really weird, but I tend to watch most videos @ 300% speed (lots of content to go through and only so many hours in the day). It's just how I've trained my brain to consume content now. I already do this with NewPipe for YouTube, so being able to crank that slider past 2X would be greatly appreciated. Dunno if Twitch would just throttle the stream and result in terrible buffering, but that's my request.

P.S. And if it isn't too hard, could we get an option to automatically skip silence like this awesome Chrome extension?

This is an old issue, but now I see that we have the skip silence feature, and if you want more speed control or any other feature, you can open it in an "external display".
