can't upload a simple mp3 file in openvbx, I am in dire need of your help, PLEASE ANYONE?
Hi guys,
Thanks a lot first of all for checking out my problem thread.
For some strange reason, I am not being able to upload a simple mp3 audio file in openvbx while creating flows. When I select "Upload an mp3 file" under audio choices, it opens up an upload box but then no matter how many times I click on it it doesn't open a window which can allow me to browse and select my audio file and upload it! (Please check the screenshots)
I can not use the option of "Record using a phone" because of some personal reason and don't want to use "Read text like a robot" option.
Details:
- Openvbx is installed on https://
- There's nothing on entire server except openvbx
- Have verified twilio account
- Have tried 3 different computers and all of them replicated the same issue
- Have tried firefox, chrome and IE browsers (All latest version)
- Have tried to upload an mp3 file within greeting and voicemail section/Applets
I really want to make this work. Please suggest something.
Same issue, any ideas?
I have just installed OpenVBX and am having the same problem.
FWIW ... i was curious about the issue so i tried to upload an MP3 and it worked great. it was a song out of my music collection (yesterday-beatles-96kps-1.43mb). test play but played it nice too. openvbx running on linux server with ssl and $config['version'] = '1.2.20'; feel for ya pal, god i hate those kind of wierd problems. good luck
Same issue here! How do we fix this guys??!!
Hi, For those who are interested, I fixed the issue by updating :
soundmanager2 (assets/j/soundmanager2) latest jQuery (assets/j/frameworks)
You will also need to update the correct path to the new jQuery version file in several php config files (just do a search in your openvbx directory for "jquery").
I had the same issue. All I had to do was open this file:
assets/min/index.php and on line 121, I changed the jQuery version to the latest changed to: https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.2.1/jquery.min.js
Hello guys, Out of nowhere, I have the same exact problem. The flows already setup work fine, but the new ones or the ones I try to edit are not. It's impossible to add any kind of message (Voicemail, Whisper, Etc).
I'm not good with jQuery or developing with Twilio, is there anyone here who could repair this for me? If the price is reasonable, I'm ready to start this TODAY.
Thanks
@magicianmarketing shoot me an email - [email protected]
@atomcreative I sent you an email
I have the same issue as @magicianmarketing A functioning install suddenly started to display the behaviour described by @454guser Tried the solution posted by @atomcreative (I think there is an omission in the file path which I think should read > assets/min/builder/index.php ) When using with firefox 55.0.2 on Ubuntu 14.04 I do get a flash plugin crash warning. When using chrome no messages are displayed and I'm unable to upload an MP3 file.
Issue IS present in the following browsers: Firefox. Chromium. Epihany. NetSurf. QupZilla.
BUT no issue exists in the following browsers: Ubuntu Web Browser based on Oxide. Ubuntu Arora (Windows version available). Ubuntu Midori (Windows and portable versions available).
So as a short term workaround, if possible, one of the 3 above browsers could be used if you need to create / edit a call flow element that involves MP3 upload.
As of Jan 2nd 2018, browsers mentioned by @ds4a don't work. But IE11 on windows 10, x64, worked.
hello @endtone .I am facing same issue .can you please help me for resolve ? thanks
hello ,can anyone help please ?
Found the SOLUTION. Adobe Flash settings need to be set to ALLOWED in your web browsers. Most of us are using Google Chrome, check your site settings by clicking on the left of the URL. Enable it and it works like a charm.
