Cannot Invite Users via Link

Bug Description

When a user of my domain gets an invite link to my workspace, he can enter email and password in the form and click on "sign up". But once he does that, he gets the error message "User is not a member of the workspace"

Expected behavior

The user enters his credentials, gets an email to validate he is actually a member of the permitted domain, clicks on a link in that email and can then sign into the workspace.

Technical inputs

Would love to provide some runtime logs, but this isn't being logged.

BTW: Trying to invite the same user per email after tying this results in this error: [email protected] is already in the workspace. But the user is most definitely not in the workspace. Even trying to get all users via API shows that he is not.
