[Filter] Search not empty

Let's say i am on the People table and i want to add a filter "search type". I will click on Filter and the dropdown opens.

Issue

let's say i am lazy and i don't click directly on search, instead i will type in the search bar "sear" and then click on search.

the default input is "sear" while it should be empty IMO

Also, to be honest, in terms of UX i feel that "Search" is Confusing to me. For a people table, Is it an equivalent to "Name contains" ?

Was it created to do something like "create a filter from a search" ?
