Searching icons, Alternate spellings

I might type alternate spellings, and when I do so, I see no search results many times.

'colour' (instead of 'color'), 'aeroplane' ('airplane'), 'biscuit' ('cookie'), 'centre' ('center'), 'lens' to get magnifying glass / search icons.
