Is it possible to adjust the facing perspective to be farther back?

The icons and wall is huge / to close. Is it possible to adjust the facing perspective to be farther back?

As a relatively new VR user I have been surprised window/gui placement options aren't a common feature across more apps. A number of up-close UIs require me to scan my head around to see everything pertinent.
