Is using your fork of micropython still necessary?

As I can see in PR in micropython, there is only one which is still open: https://github.com/micropython/micropython/pull/6785

I'm afraid that's not the case: #5973, #5840, #5953 are also still open... I've been taking a bit of a break from MicroPython 'cause getting PRs in just takes so long and so many iterations, so it's possible that I missed something...
