Dark Mode - Images, video, text, etc. is darkened too

When running in dark mode with VIA, I find that images, video, text, etc. is darkened. As compared to using dark mode in another browser like Kiwi or xbrowser as examples, backgrounds are dark as expected but Images, video, text, etc. remain bright and crisp just as if you were running in light mode. It would be nice if VIA did not dim these elements in dark mode, or if that is intentional then an additional option be added for dark mode to allow foreground elements to not be darkened.

I would like to have an option so that the images are not inverted depending on the theme, because otherwise they look different, and sometimes it is not clear what is depicted there. As a result, you have to turn off Dark Mode just to see the images.
