I have been able to cheat by making a bunch of scenes on the tuya app, so can now control the fan and light from home assistant but doesnt get feedback from the fan itself,

I also have 2 of these fans and would like to get them communicating with Home Assistant

I currently have an open ticket with tuya support for my fans as they are missing the majority of the command sets,

Another user has a pull request where they have modified the fan and light code and may work but cant test yet.

I have scenese as a work around for the moment

Device is not standard tuya, and doesnt support fan_speed unfortunently, Tuya support cannot enable it on the API for these fans, They have added the other commands but few issues with some commands,

The open pull request for FSD mostly works for these devices, EG. Colour temp seems backwards, but may be able to invert in code possibly, Fan direction works in 1 direction, Fan speed is unavailable and unable to add, (But can work around by using tuya scenes) (7 scenes, 1 per speed option, and a select entity to switch between)

Bump:

Device Type: FSD

This fan still isnt really supported as yet, I did have some success with the HACS version of the tuya v2 awhile ago, but the HA version still hasnt worked properly at all, I do have a workaround at the moment with scenes so can send commands but cant see status for the fan or light at all,

I have attached the diagnostics file in the hopes someone may be able to help but not hopeful, It seems the API/Control Set isn't complete for this product and I have previously contacted Tuya and they fixed some things but couldn't add all,

It seems the TUYA app uses a different API to the HA integration API,

Custom command sets dont seem to be a thing,
