No window hide animation for maximized windows

DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 22.04 LTS" gnome yelp 42.1 When the function is enabled, the window in full screen status will be hidden without animation.

This looks like an upstream problem and should probably be fixed on GNOME's side. Feel free to post this issue again in some GNOME repository (e.g. https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/). I will leave this issue open for a while to see if there are other users experiencing the same.

I also have the same issue. When full screen applications are minimized there is no animation as well as it kind of freezes for a second. On minimizing firefox it even acts weirdly by flashing for a second. Is this an upstream issue with gnome?

As I said, it most likely is an upstream issue and I encourage you to post this in some official GNOME repository.

I can confirm this. When I disable the extension, animations work normally.
