Compatibility with Dash to Panel extension

Open psokol opened this issue 8 years ago • 3 comments

Dash to Panel extension https://github.com/jderose9/dash-to-panel integrates topbar with dock and place them on top or bottom screen edge. Unfortunately your extension does not integrate well with it. When the panel is moved to the bottom, after a while it brakes. After that, to unhide the panel I have to place mouse cursor on top of the screen instead a bottom. Pressing the shortcut keys also doesn't reveal the panel.

I'm experiencing the same problem unfortunately. When using Dash to Panel and placing the panel at the bottom of the screen I need to move the mouse to the top of the screen to get the panel to be revealed.

If I open the Hide Top Bar preferences and switch a few options on and off then things start to work as expected until I reboot.

Same issue here on Ubuntu 17.10. This extension along with Dash-To-Panel completes the DE experience for us coming from Unity. There is also an issue with the preview function while autohide is enabled on DTP. It's reported by another user at the DTP github page. Pls check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBPtrzfvMNY
