Images in plain text mails

Describe the bug

I made screenshots in OSX (CMD + SHIFT + 4). I paste the image into the email body, where it look OK.

In my UI the images are pasted and visible in the body. Even if I have plain text mails active. I can see images also in the "send" folder when I look at my own mail.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Make sure mail body is set to plain text.

  1. Go to 'New mail'
  2. Write a text and paste an image into the text
  3. Send mail
  4. Recipient receives a mail with no attachments and no images references in the body. It stays empty.

Expected behavior

Recipient receives a mail with images attached. As mails are send as plain text, I would not expect to see images in the preview.
