Is the calendar search improvement for Tutanota still in progress?

It's been about a year since this was asked last time, so I'll ask again - are calendar improvements still planned/in progress? The lack of better calendar support is what's topping me from using Tutanota.

Yes! Where is the support for the calendar? No searching! Unable to modify/delete one recurring event without affecting all events! Unable to set recurring events to specific days of the week (e.g. first Wednesday of the month; last Thursday of the month, etc.)!

Agreed. Would really like a search feature, please.

For me email and calendar go hand in hand to organise day to day pers admin. I agree with the previous posts, that the limitations in calendar are what keep me from completely migrating to Tutanota.

I tried it a few ago, but returned to Google for the additional search, editing and labelling functionality,

This seriously needs to be higher on the priority list. Search should be one of the basic features of email and calendar.

I agree. The lack of a good search capability is why I gave up on Tutanota.

Hi there, I had the same idea, so I came upon this website, anyway IU just wated to share a (“temporary let's hope“) wy of searching in the calendar, maybe you guys thought about it already, it is pretty basic, but I ust had the idea : simply the search (Command-F) action ! Have a good day

A search function should be an essential feature in a calendar. Tutanota should urgently work on this.

I'll probably dump Tutanota. No search, awful spam filters, slow interface. I did buy a 2 year subscription to support the project, but there are too many basic features missing. I'll come back to it later.

Just a heads up that Proton has released this feature on their service, with the caveat that it's currently only available in beta on the Proton Calendar web app.

https://proton.me/support/calendar-search

Tutanota and Proton are usually neck in neck when it comes to features, so maybe Proton's beta release can trigger a push of this feature up in the priority list?

Please remember to also make the calendar list view to be able to entries from the past!

Any real news about searching option yet

Dragging an event in month view does not propagate to other clients. Any other open clients show the old date.

rezbyte avatar Jan 15 '24 12:01 rezbyte

Refreshing the search on mail view does not reapply the filters.

rezbyte avatar Jan 15 '24 12:01 rezbyte

The calendar search continues even after pressing cancel.

Alarms set to 'on event start' do not fire on Desktop.

rezbyte avatar Jan 15 '24 13:01 rezbyte

I have not tested the alarms on mobile as I am waiting for the mobile builds to be fixed.

Edit: Pulling the web assembly modules fixes it on Android, iOS is still broken.
