Hook templates (NB 7.4beta and 7.3)

i know 7.4 is still in beta, but i can't get templates to work. is it normally a install and play feature or do i need to download templates from somewhere in order for them to work? For example, typing hook_menu only gives me code completion for the function, not the possibility to include the template for the hook.

Edit; just installed it on 7.3 and same behaviour

You need to type it into the Drupal API window (window->drupal->drupal api). It defaults to docking to the left sidebar, under the project/file tree explorer. See the attached.
