Previewing color themes in VS Code breaks with this extension

First off - thanks a ton for this extension, it's fantastic.

One thing I like to do when changing themes is open up the "Preferences: Color Theme" from the command palette and preview them by hitting up/down on the keyboard. However, as soon as you move to a new color, this extension briefly opens up a new tab and causes the command palette to close, preventing me from seeing the preview.

Same here, additionally prevented from changing extensions using the keyboard at all. Resorted to clicking on themes manually.

It seems to be hooked into exactly when the theme changes, but perhaps could be changed to only sync when the config file is written.
