1080 is a bad port
Describe the bug 1080 is for SOCKS proxy. It is registered with IANA. This is an awesome app built upon an awesome spec. You should choose an available port and register it with IANA
To Reproduce
- see here: https://www.iana.org/assignments/service-names-port-numbers/service-names-port-numbers.xhtml?search=socks
Expected behavior I should be able to run SOCKS and tusd, using their normal ports, at the same time.

Thank you for the feedback! I am not sure if it's sensible to register a port for tus since it normally either uses standard HTTP ports (80/443) or is configured behind a proxy and uses whatever port makes sense in this specific network. Therefore, the port of tusd is usually always configured by the user manually, so a standardized port makes less sense. What do you think?
I should be able to run SOCKS and tusd, using their normal ports, at the same time.
The port of tusd can be changed using the -port
flag, so you should be able to run them at the same time, don't you?
@Acconut I think it would be an idea to change the port to 8000
or 8080
, to signify it's using an alternate http port. Since it could be seen as a breaking change, it could perhaps be changed in v2.
