Empty Text Values in the UI

After fixing Issue#2 I was able to get the application to successfully load a save file. However it seems that all of the character names and dropdowns are blank. It looks like some of them are populated with objects however there is no text for the object so you can't know what is what. All of the tabs suffer from this issue.
