Plenty of reverse engineering attempts for Tinder seem to exist. For example: https://github.com/niketanpatel/tinder-api-wrapper and https://github.com/cansik/sharp-tinder.

Here is some kind of third party client for Tinder: https://www.npmjs.com/package/tinder-client.

How would you handle swiping from Matrix?

Personally my want from this would be less about the swiping/etc side of things, and more about just bringing Tinder's chat features into Matrix.
