[REQUEST] Continue PR #465(Implementing "Zoom in" function)

This issue continues issue #435 and pull request #465

I started implementing the "Zoom in" feature in pull request #465. However, I couldn't find a solution, to how to implement the "zoom in" feature for several objects together. In pull request #465 there are several ideas, which can help.
