Longer alert time

Hey, when i chose the alert for when a cooldown is done, sometimes it is so fast i can't even see the icon... it's a really quick flash... Can we get the abillity to controle how long the icon is there?.. maybe be able to align it somewhere? so i can have the icon to the left side for a second, or so?
