@plu what's the state of this one?
I have not finished my investigation, sorry it's taking so long :(. XcodeController seems to work just fine, xcode-select -p returns the value from DEVELOPER_DIR, if set. So there must be a bug somewhere else. I came into this area originally because an update of Xcode would not cause a full test run.
