nvALT crashes on clicking [[double-bracket]] links

I've seen this bug for at least the last year and I 'send reports to Apple' as often as I can but I think I should report it here also.

It's quite random and I don't know how to re-produce it, but it seems to have something to do with following [[double-bracket]] links. Sometimes I create a new link and click on it, sometimes I click an existing link, sometimes there is a search term in the search bar, sometimes not… In any case, clicking on these links will crash the app immediately, but only on rare, random occasions.

Today I decided to copy the crash report and also the console log if it helps investigate the problem.

I'm running nvALT 2.2.8 (128) on macOS High Sierra 10.13.3
