Twitter logger omits text when tweet starts with parentheses

When twitterlogger imports my own Twitter posts, most posts appear as "[22:00] text of the post". However, tweets that begin (and possibly those that also end) with parentheses appear as "22:00", with no brackets around the time-link and no text.
