SNR improvement by changing offset frequency to 12kHz

During experiments I found a offset of 12kHz to give better performance If needed I can provide the sin/cosine table

Thanks for your trial and report. Can I see the evidence or captures, or quantities of the improvement?

Does it change frequency resolution? For example, there is needs to check high Q filters with 500-3000 Hz bandwidth. Does this improvement makes such measurement worse or not?

In my opinion it's better to have high frequency resolution than high magnitude resolution. In order to allow measurement for high Q filters.

Furthermore, NanoVNA has a lack of high quality power voltage stabilization, filtering and shielding in order to work with dynamic range higher than 70 dB.
