patch for vanilla kernel 4.1rc3

Hello if you do have time, can you share a patch to the vanilla kernel 4.1rc3 ?

That kernel support well touch screen and touch pad but, the keyboard backlight and sound just doesn't work, I tried apply the patch file in the repo but it doesn't work.

I'm compiling it for debian jessi.

+1 I'm trying to make Ubuntu 15.04 work and from the looks of it those are the only two things missing. @tsowell is there anything I could do to help make this happen? My C is rusty at best, but I'd give it a shot.

I ended up recreating the patches for 4.1, see linux-4.1-samus.

Is Google still trying to upstream the rest of these patches or do we have to look forward to someone bringing these patches forward to 4.2, 4.3, 4.x as well?

Thanks @raphael. Hopefully you and tsowell can work together to see that the AUR package is updated, as I see you've created the PKGBUILD already.
