Field on welcome screen with game ID

Users who enter the game using a home screen bookmark don't see an address bar (iOS, Win8) --- Should there be a form field or other way to indicate the need to enter a game ID?

(This, of course, may open up a need to change how game IDs are generated so they can be more easily typed...)

Okay so this didn't make much sense to the latest scrum master to create a game. Explain or tooltip this field?
