Drop "benchmark" CI job?

I don't think we do anything with the benchmarks @benjeffery - shall we drop them, in the interest of simplifying our CI setup? We can probably drop the benchmark code as well, I don't think it's of any real value if it's not being actively monitored and checked (and I have no intention of doing so).
