'prerequisites' section to quickstart?

I've had some feedback from a new user that it'd be nice to have a "prerequisites" section that explains how much python you're going to need to know to use msprime. maybe these are FAQs? like, "I use the command line but not python. What can I do?" or "I know R but can cut-and-paste python. How much can I do, and do I need to learn python?" Maybe this could be under Quickstart?
