Annotated genes that are not there

Hi, I was using prokka with a custom db and it "found" and annotated genes that are not in the sequence. (I tried to locate some of the annotations in their corresponding sequence using grep, BLAST, anything I could think of - they are not there.) The problem shouldn't be in the db as several sequences that do contain those genes are annotates correctly.
