Thank you for the report. Did you tried setting No Signal Timeout to maximum?

Yes, 10 minutes and still occurs

While it is easy to increase the maximum timeout, it is questionable whether this is the right approach. Since the initial development, I feel that the specifications around BLE are gradually becoming less and less appropriate for BLEUnlock. I feel like there are more and more reasons to provide companion apps for iOS/Android.

Updated to Ventura RC II. No change. iPhone appears in devices when unlocked. Still locks randomly and unlocks when activating.unlocking iPhone. Due to IOS 16.1?

I'm running iOS 16.1 and Monterey for a while, and I don't see any problem so far. Ventura may be the culprit.

I've been using Ventura since it was released, and experienced no trouble. Both active and passive mode.

Me neither until the last beta of Ventura and IOS 16. Running it on iMac Pro 2017, MacBook Air 2014 (OCLP) and MacBook Pro (2017) and iPhone 13 Pro. Occurring on all machines.

I'm having the same issues when using my Iphone as tracked device. I think the main reason it loses connection is because I assume iOS disables the bluetooth signal to extend battery life, as when I turn on the screen of the phone it instantly pops up again.

As a test I've installed an app MyBeacon which will broadcast allows you to use your phone as an iBeacon device. A bit hacky workaround, but whilst active my Macbook is able to keep detecting the phone and therefor wont lock out.
