In real hardware, reflections are interrupted once. But the supermodel continues to reflect

It's possible supermodel is too bright. I remember we had some custom logic in there for fixed shading + 1.5 hardware. The question is, can anyone like professionally match the images together and work out if those parts really are too bright? And if so by how much? Maybe then I can figure out the logic.

Yeah I watched a video and saw the brightness flickering on original h/w I am not sure what is causing that

I haven't really looked into this myself yet, but I know that specular reflection on the player car in Daytona 2 is a little bit too bright compared to real hardware so perhaps this could be a similar issue.

I think it's using fixed shading, which instead of normal lighting, they pack a brightness value into the normals for shading.
