Daytona 2 PE Scene transitions

There now seems to be a hard change where the screen goes blue mid fade. I know Daytona had the odd blue frame once and a while, but the issue does seem more noticeable lately. I guess the new layer logic is exposing timing issues, so not sure if it can be fixed?
