Daily Activity hangs Obsidian.md on MacOS Sequioa
Describe the bug
After the most recent Obsidian update to Version 1.8.10 (Installer 1.7.7), and updating all plugins, the Obsidian application on MacOS hangs at "Loading Workspaces."
After investigation, I found that disabling Daily Activity fixed the issue.
To Reproduce Happened every time I launched Obsidian.app

I can confirm this is also happening to me with my Obsidian app on macOS. The description is the same as the report above. Removing the daily-activity plugin from the plugins folder solves the problem and allows Obsidian to load just fine.
This last release added some new dependencies and features, as well as a new metrics tracking architecture. I'll try to take a look at it this weekend.
Sorry about that. Glad you found a workaround. Hope it didn't take long to find.
Can confirm as well, that after disabling the plugin, Obsidian stops crashing. Did you find a work around?
