Using the mass email attack..The highlighted END is where i have got the problem

have had the same issue along with not having this issue in version 8.0.1
having the same issue and unable to find the solution anywhere .anyone knows how to get rid of this error .im using ubuntu bionic ....
This occurs due to setoolkit being ran under python3, where some functions return strings instead of bytes. As a quick interim fix, you can run setoolkit with python2 to fix the issue.

Assuming use of Kali, you can just do
sudo python /usr/share/set/setoolkit
And it should work. If you're using something else or setookit is installed in another location, just find where the setoolkit program is and run it with python.
Hi there, just tried running setoolkit with python2 , the command went through but my SMTP server didn't seem to send out the email?
Mine also didn’t seem to actually send the email. The Python 2 thing definitely worked, tho.

Yeah, gmail is picking the sign in attempt as suspicious. But still no luck using non gmail accounts.

Just throwing in a me to for having this issue. Tried it with a gmail, and an account on my own ubuntu mail server.
Dont use 2-authentication verification email...

I am thinking that is what was needed. I did a lot of installing of things, but also turned off a feature in my Linux mail server, that didn't allow plain text passwords, and required 2FA, and then it started working. So that might or might not have been the issue, but it works now.

Solution :- Use Gmail App password 🙌🏻.
Im new to Kali and im just playing with things. I have the same issues "password was incorrect". I dont have 2FA enabled and im not receiving any login attempt notifications.
Can someone give me a list of steps for troubleshooting please ? This is very annoying lol
