Consider a documentation alternative

I was wondering if it would make sense to expand the documentation at bit. I have the feeling that it slowly outgrows the "homepage" size.

Some projects in the Rust ecosystem use mdbook? And thoughts?

That would be great. It would allow for docs targeted at different usecases and expand on the examples.
