I'd be interested in having an influxdb chart also, but would probably prefer the latest release in the 2.x branch rather than the 1.8 branch.

Users dont have to argue for their request and requesting things on other requests is not going to get any responses.

please make your own requests and dont cause needless spam on old(er) requests no-one is working on anyway.

We've decided to not-accept issues for chart requests anymore, because the vast majority of the issue tracker if flooded with them and we don't (and never have) actually plan to do anything with chart requests as maintainers.
