Add rTorrent App
I'd like to suggest adding the rTorrent app. It seems to be the only major torrent app missing from TrueCharts. It's usually packaged with ruTorrent web UI but I believe it works with Flood which might be a better match from a looks perspective. Unfortunately I don't believe there's an official Docker image but maybe this app suggestion can be bumped up to k8s-at-home who seems to supply other non official Docker images for TrueCharts.
+1 for this. rutorrent is my preferred webui and rtorrent, in my subjective experience, has been more stable than qbittorrent, deluge, or transmission.
what is the status of this app request? not that I expect it to be done, just to be sure this is not lost given it's not using the [Add]: template for app requests. shall I open a new request with the right template?
No need, we don't care about app requests as maintainers, we generally ignore them anyway to be honest.
We've decided to not-accept issues for chart requests anymore, because the vast majority of the issue tracker if flooded with them and we don't (and never have) actually plan to do anything with chart requests as maintainers.
