Is there anything happening with this? I'm trying to upgrade this to python 3 and I have some hicups with PyXB not liking the way the namespaces are named. pyxb.NamespaceUniquenessError

Is this currently in the works and I should probably not keep going down this rabbit hole?

The project is basically left alone from my side. I am willing to help in any way, however.

For the specific problem, I would vote removing the XML support from the project. If I remember right, this was mainly for the graph import / export, and not for core functionality.
